This is crazy I like to enjoy and savour my chocolate but not go to the extent of smelling the rapper before actually opening it and eating it. That’s going to the extreme. I agree with the article when it’s saying, “Like coffee before it, chocolate is going complex and upscale”. Which is true, just go Starbucks and see for your self. There coffee is amazingly great but it’s also amazingly expensive. I guess if you’re a real chocolate lover then you wouldn’t look at the price, you’d just buy it. This Godiva chocolate sounds really good but I’m not sure I’d give $120 per pound. That’s going to the extreme. I think Chocolate makes all women happy so if that’s what it takes who cares what the price is!

This article is very interesting and I totally agree with it. If states that, “While most people consider advertising to be extremely annoying, it is a necessary evil in modern society” and that’s very true because without advertising we woudn’t know what’s new and people couldn’t tell when one of their favorite brands has a new product. Also when it talks about Radio saying that, Radio for example, wouldn’t be free for long without the commercials to pay for the service. Which is true, because those commercials is how the radio services get their money. It takes a lot of time and money to make and produce an ad. Also it depends on what kind of ad you make. Some ads are more interesting than others so they will obviouly get more media attention then the others. So I think that advertising is essential and we have to keep on doing it so that companies all over can keep on making products that we need to get by.

2. What current clothing fad do you find puzzling? What current clothing fad do you follow right now? I find the current skinny jean look a little weird, and the say no to crack look is also a little weird, the one where the jeans are like below the butt which I still haven’t figrued out how in the world the pants stay up. I really don’t follow any clothing fad right now.

3. What technology do you own/use? IPod/MP3 player, video game systems, computers, cell phones etc. I own an ipod, and we have a computer, and a cellphone in my house which we all use.

4. Piercings/tattoos … do you have any? Do you want any? Explain. Nope. I don’t have any tattoos or piercings. Personally I think piercings are sick, well to an extent their ok but not all over body piercings. I don’t mind tattoos either to an extent but not when the person is like covered with them. I wouldn’t mind getting a tattoo. I’d get a little butterfly or chinese symbol somthing like that.

I think this picture for my generation this picture would look totally different. First of all he wouldn’t be smoking because smoking views have changed since then. The hair would definitely not be the same. It would probably be spiked or something like that. He would probably have a gun. He’d have tattoos, maybe piercings. Maybe he’s be wearing sunglasses. He would be wearing different more up to date clothes. The poster itself would have better color and the “Rebel without a cause” would probably be changed to something else.

I would expect the clothes, hair to be different. I would also expect the cigarette to be gone. I would expect better color in the picture and that’s about it.

Well it would abviously be displayed at a different Cinema. I think the “Rebel without a cause” might be changed to something more sutiable that parents might approve of.

I think it’s pretty interesting that so many people have joined Facebook in such a short amount of time. I was also surprized at the age group that’s joining. I thought it would just be the younger generation but apparently some 54 year olds are joining but I guess that’s ok because it’s used as a communication tool to keep in contact with your family members, friends ect. It was also interesting to know that half the population of Ottawa was on Facebook all because of one guy. It’s nice to know that we can keep in contact with people because of this geat tool.

This video is very entertaining. I learnt a lot from it that I never knew about Mac’s or PC’s. I agree that Mac’s are better, well for me anyway because I’m not really into making spreadsheets in my free time. For people who work a lot with numbers a PC would be the thing to get because it’s good with numbers. The problems with it is it gets stuck a lot and it gets lots of viruses, it also has a big power cord that you always trip over.

Mac on the other hand doesn’t have a power cord at all instead it has a magnetic cord that just pops out when anybody trips over it. Mac’s were made for dong creative things, like making movies, pod casts and things like that. It has a built in Camera.It also has I-movie instead of Itunes. It’s good if you want to make websites ect. It’s easy to run and doesn’t get stuck in the middle of doing something and best of all it doesn’t get viruses. So I totally agree that Mac is way better.

I totally agree with this article because kids are spending way to much time watching TV. I also think that because of that lots of kids have become obese because they don’t get enough physical activity. I know where I live we don’t have any TV’s and our kids are constantly outside playing. Their building little houses to play in, the littler kids are at the sandbox. Their always outside playing and I think if we had TV’s that would be different. I also agree that watching too much TV could cause high blood pressure because they don’t do anything, just sit. They don’t get any physical activity. Especially in kids it’s important for them to get a lot of physical activity and also eat healthy so they can grow strong. So I fully agree with what the person in this article is saying.

Wow. That was my initial response to this article. I like some people in the article think that this is totally not going to work. If they’ll want to text then they’ll find a way to do it with no problem. I’m sure some kids will respect the freedom that they’re getting out of this but some will not. I agree that cell phones have become a big problem in schools and I only know this because of stories that I’ve read and heard about. In our school nobody has a cellphone and if we have one it can’t even come to school. So basically I think that this new idea of “freedom” will probably not work out as well as they’re predicting.

I think that this is a good and bad thing. I think it’s a good thing because you get to have your own laptop. When the kid needs it they’ve got it. Also it would be good because then you could use it to do your homework at home if you don’t have any internet on your computer at home. You could use it to do research at home for assignment and so forth. Also it’s good because this is what’s going on now, people feel the need to keep up with the world and how it’s changing even in the electronic department.

The bad part of this would be what the kids would do with the laptop on their own time. If they take it home they could be doing anything and everything on the laptop and the school wouldn’t know about it. Even in school they could spend the entire day messing around on the laptop instead of doing their work. You just never know, unless they’d be supervised constantly. So basically I think it’s a pretty good idea if the kids are willing to take on that responsibility.
